Hi, I'm Sara Kreyenhagen. I was born in
Iceland, but have grown up almost my whole life in California. I
have been riding horses since I was three years old. The first horse
that I rode was a sheltland pony mare named Sophie. She passed away
when I was about 5. When I was 6, I got my first Icelandic horse
named Ošinn. He was my main horse for a many years until one our
mares gave birth to a filly. The filly is now
three and a half years old, and is soon
going to begin training. My third horse is a Welsh pony named
Willie. We have had Willie since I was very little. He hasn“t ever
really been trained but I am starting to train him. He is very sweet
though, and he has a very good movement for a
welsh pony. In March 2007, I competed down south in LA at Burbank
with Otto and received
scores of 5.5 to 6.5 in 4-Gait and Tolt 1. When I was younger I
began jumping our Icelandics for fun, as you can see below, but
they were too small for this. So in August 2007, I bought Max Pro my
5 year old Thoroughbred. He is a lot of fun to ride and gets along
great with all our Icelandics. I plan on showing him in early
summer, but only if I can get him ready for that. He is one of the
sweetest horses I have ever met, and has the best personality. I
love him, along with all my other horses. |
